Marriages - Farmyard Layers Mash - 20kg

   A highly palatable feed; high in protein. Marriages Layers Mash has been specially formulated to meet the need
for a general, all purpose diet, which can be fed to flocks of mixed ages under any management system. Aimed at
traditional breeds and a perfect ration for free range or deep litter laying birds. Feed this to maintain bird health,
keep birds laying well, produce good sized eggs and ensure good yolk colour and shell quality. This feed relies on
natural vegetable sources for yolk colour, and contains no chemical or chemically treated pigments. Marriages Layers
Mash can also be fed to waterfowl, and may be fed either dry, or wet if preferred. *GM FREE*

Diatom Powder can also be used as a follow-up treatment to SPR Poultry Shield in order to mop up any surviving
mite and prevent re-infestation. Diatom Powder is made from layers of microscopic algae laid down in prehistoric
times, it is mined, and then milled to the correct grade. It is non-toxic, non-staining and can safely be used on all
livestock and pets, and also in organic production. Diatom can be applied directly to the skin, as well as bedding,
nest boxes, dust baths and housing. It also has many household and garden uses including slug control, and the

teeth, and performs the grinding actions neccesary to make their food digestable. S.P.R. Centre Hen Grit is a

SPR Fishmeal is an excellent source of protein and is also rich in essential ammino acids, vitamins and minerals.
Fishmeal is a natural balanced feed that is high in protein, energy, minerals (calcium and phosphorus), a natural
source of vitamins (including choline, biotin and vitamin B12, A and E) and the micronutrients selenium and iodine.
It has long been recognised that the anti-genicity of fish protein is low, and coupled with the anti-inflammatory
properties of fishmeal, its inclusion in chick diets has been shown to greatly improve disease resistance in poultry.
SPR Fishmeal is produced from sustainable sources and is a renewable feed source, produced almost exclusively
from types of fish for which there is no demand for human food use. It is ideally balanced for poultry and also a

Battles Poultry Spice is a nutritional supplement to help birds quickly get over the moult. It is invaluable for rearing
poultry, ducks, geese, turkeys and game birds. One teaspoon of Battles Poultry Spice to be given daily in the usual
wet or dry mash for every ten birds. In cold weather a little more powder may given. Battles Poultry Spice is also
recommended for improving all round condition and performance. Contains no added preservatives or colours.

Allen & Page Natural Free Range Layers Pellets Provide a complete feed for free range hens, though fresh
vegetables or mixed corn may still be fed in the afternoon as a treat. This feed provides all the vitamins, minerals
(including Calcium) and natural ingredients needed for a good sized egg with a natural golden yolk colour.
Natural Free Range Layers Pellets are free from artificial yolk pigmenters and include Omega 3 oils for healthier
birds and better eggs. Feed all year round, on a free access basis.
An average hen will eat 100 - 150g (4oz) per day.

Janssen - Flubenvet 1% Medicated Premixture Poultry Wormer - 60g

This is the only medically approved poultry wormer available for the small producer with a maximum of 24 birds.
Janssen medicated premixture is produced from flubenvet which is effective against gapeworm, large roundworm,
caecal worm, hairworm and gizzard worm in chickens, turkeys, and geese. Activity includes adult worms, larvae
and eggs. To use, mix the required amount of Janssen Flubenvet (see table below) into the daily feed ration.
The medicated feed should then be fed as a “complete ration” and should be fed for 7 consecutive days. 1 x level
scoop (included) of Flubenvet 1% Medicated Premixture produces 6g of wormer. Birds on the ground with known
worm infestations, are susceptible to re-infestation. In such cases, re-treatment with another 7-day course, after
three weeks is recommended.
