   Award-winning red mite control from SPR Centre. Poultry Shield Ultimate is also effective against bacteria,
viruses, fungus, mould, algae and biofilms. To use, dilute 1 part Poultry Shield to 10 parts water for an instant
kill. Poultry Shield Ultimate can also be used at 1:20 for general disinfection of the chicken house after mucking
out. Simply dilute and spray the house and equipment liberally, Poultry Shield Ultimate will kill mite/eggs over
a period of 2-3 days. The birds can then be re-introduced almost immediately. *Note: The solution is effective
only on contact with the mite and eggs.

Janssen - Flubenvet 1% Medicated Premixture Poultry Wormer - 60g

This is the only medically approved poultry wormer available for the small producer with a maximum of 24 birds.
Janssen medicated premixture is produced from flubenvet which is effective against gapeworm, large roundworm,
caecal worm, hairworm and gizzard worm in chickens, turkeys, and geese. Activity includes adult worms, larvae
and eggs. To use, mix the required amount of Janssen Flubenvet (see table below) into the daily feed ration.
The medicated feed should then be fed as a “complete ration” and should be fed for 7 consecutive days. 1 x level
scoop (included) of Flubenvet 1% Medicated Premixture produces 6g of wormer. Birds on the ground with known
worm infestations, are susceptible to re-infestation. In such cases, re-treatment with another 7-day course, after
three weeks is recommended.

For the treatment of mites in poultry, larger cage birds (e.g. pigeons and parrots), and also fur, ear and mange
mites and lice in rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and other small mammals (e.g. rats). Pharmaq Ivermectin Drops
are cost effective, with enough product to provide a full course of treatment to a loft of up to fifty pigeons. The
treatment is very easy to apply with the dropper bottle-nozzle, and the 1% concentration means that a single
