With an increasing amount of people wishing to keep poultry in the back yard or garden for pleasure and for a guaranteed supply of fresh, free range eggs, we hope to guide prospective small scale egg producers through the pitfalls, and to give good practical advice and guidance, hopefully saving pennies on poultry products on the way. We feel we are qualified to do this on account of over 40 years experience at different levels of the poultry industry, and a continuing interest in new poultry products and practices within the industry. We have for many years concentrated on supplying the small scale egg producers with the right type of free range layers, and the necessary poultry equipment according to the size and situation of the flock. We keep in stock all the poultry products needed to set up and maintain a unit for up to 24 laying hens including the housing. For poultry houses 50 to 200 capacity, you will need to allow up to four weeks for delivery. We also supply quality traditional poultry feeds at good prices, and any poultry supplements and poultry wormers that may be necessary at times. For the incubation of eggs, and through the rearing stages until the first pullet egg, we supply quality incubators, heat lamps, thermometers, poultry feeds, poultry drinkers, poultry feeders, egg trays, egg boxes and all the poultry products we think you might need. We have our own range of poultry health care products including S.P.R. Poultry Shield, S.P.R. Diatom and S.P.R. Eradicate for the control of external poultry parasites, and Stressless, a poultry multivitamin supplement designed specifically for laying hens. For poultry disinfectants and poultry hygiene, anti-feather pecking sprays, poultry leg rings and wing bands, humane dispatchers, dummy nest eggs, feed scoops, poultry crates, poultry books, and a great range of poultry drinkers, feeders, and above all, sound, practical advice.
